"Retribution" introduces Jason Fox a privately educated, charismatic young man who supplements his income from burglary. He is serving a short prison sentence in one of the oldest English prisons. Because of overcrowding he find himself in a basement cell block of Victorian dungeons recently recommissioned. Here Fox learns he is a Claircognizant when the cell block is terrorised by a spirit determined to reveal the identity of a rapist.
